Five Years of Elite Field Service
Five years ago, we started Elite Field Service with a single service truck, a commitment to taking care of customers and a belief that there was an opportunity to do equipment service differently.
Today, we have more than 40 employees, a growing equipment dealership, an expanded range of services and a facility we could only have imagined when we started in 2021.
As we celebrate the five-year anniversary of Elite Field Service, we're proud of how much has changed - but we're even prouder of what has stayed the same.
From day one, we've been fanatical about taking care of our customers and taking care of each other. Five years later, that philosophy still drives everything we do.
Elite Field Service Started with Service
Elite Field Service was founded in 2021 by Josh Elyea, Ryan Vannest and Paul Roussey, with Ted DeHaan joining the company approximately six months later.
The fundamental part of our original vision is right there in the name: Service.
Josh had spent much of his career working from a service truck, and some of his favorite memories from those early days are remarkably simple. The first service truck arriving at his house. Getting the parts organized and the truck ready. Heading out to do those first jobs on customers' equipment and getting their machines back up and running.
Within a couple of months, that first truck was followed by a crane truck. Then came more jobs, more customers and more opportunities.
In 2026, Elite Field Service reached another major milestone when we were selected as the exclusive authorized Michigan dealer for Bandit Industries' industrial product lines, becoming Bandit's first authorized dealer for these product lines in Michigan.
But, ask Josh what he's proudest of, and the answer isn't a truck, facility or dealership agreement.
It's the team.
Watching talented people come together and accomplish things that none of us could have accomplished individually has been one of the most rewarding parts of these five years.
Our employees took a chance on Elite Field Service when we were a young company without the reputation we have today. They came to work, took care of customers, took care of each other and helped build that reputation job by job.
We work hard, but having fun together has always been part of our culture too. We laugh, we give each other a hard time and we genuinely enjoy working alongside one another. That culture matters because the people behind the equipment are ultimately what make Elite Field Service what it is.
The Next Five Years of Elite Field Service
Where will Elite Field Service be five years from now?
That's difficult to predict, because five years ago we couldn't have predicted where we'd be today.
We do know we'll continue to grow. We'll keep investing in our people, training and the equipment our customers depend on. We'll continue building relationships with manufacturers and expanding the ways we can support customers throughout Michigan, Northern Indiana and Northern Ohio.
Most importantly, we'll keep doing what got us here.
We'll be fanatical about taking care of our customers and fanatical about taking care of each other.
Thanks for being part of our journey!
