We’re Hiring Field Technicians Across Michigan’s Lower Peninsula
Elite Field Service is growing, and we’re looking for skilled Field Technicians throughout Michigan’s Lower Peninsula. Opportunities are available in West Michigan, across the east side of the state and in other regions where strong talent is ready to make an impact. Because we serve customers statewide, we’re always interested in connecting with experienced mechanics in communities across the Lower Peninsula who want to be part of the Elite team.
Work That Keeps Crews Moving
At Elite Field Service, our Field Technicians play a key role in supporting the crews we serve across Michigan. When equipment needs attention, you’re the one showing up, working through the issue, and helping get things back on track.
If you enjoy problem-solving, working with your hands, and getting out into the field, this is a role where you’ll stay engaged and keep learning.
As the Michigan dealer for Manitou equipment, Bandit equipment, CMC tracked aerial lifts, and GiANT loaders—and a factory-authorized service provider for JLG and Sennebogen—you’ll be working with some of the most respected equipment in the industry.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a field-based role where no two days look exactly the same.
You’ll be:
Traveling to customer sites across Michigan
Diagnosing and repairing aerial lifts, telehandlers, and other heavy equipment
Troubleshooting issues on-site and working toward practical solutions
Communicating with customers in a clear, professional way
Completing service documentation and job updates
Tracking time and coordinating parts when needed
Your Service Truck
Your truck is your workspace in the field.
Maintain organized inventory and common parts
Keep your vehicle clean and ready for the day
Stay prepared so you can respond efficiently on-site
How We Work
We’ve built systems and support around our technicians so you’re not out there on your own.
Coordinated dispatch and scheduling
Clear communication across the team
Digital tools for service orders and documentation
A team that’s there when you need backup or input
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who:
Enjoys solving problems and figuring things out
Is comfortable working independently in the field
Takes pride in doing quality work
Communicates well with customers and teammates
Brings a strong, reliable work ethic
Experience with heavy equipment, mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems is an asset, but the right attitude and willingness to learn go a long way here.
What We Offer
Medical insurance premiums covered
Simple IRA
Take your service truck home
Manufacturer training and ongoing learning opportunities
Competitive pay based on experience
Why Elite
Supportive, team-oriented environment
Variety in your day-to-day work
Opportunities to build skills and grow your experience
Work that directly supports the people out in the field
Hands-on experience with leading equipment brands
