We’re Hiring Field Technicians Across Michigan’s Lower Peninsula
Elite Field Service is growing, and we’re looking for skilled Field Technicians throughout Michigan’s Lower Peninsula. Opportunities are available in West Michigan, across the east side of the state and in other regions where strong talent is ready to make an impact. Because we serve customers statewide, we’re always interested in connecting with experienced mechanics in communities across the Lower Peninsula who want to be part of the Elite team.

At Elite Field Service, our Field Technicians play a key role in supporting the crews we serve across Michigan. When equipment needs attention, you’re the one showing up, working through the issue, and helping get things back on track.

As the Michigan dealer for Manitou equipment, Bandit equipment, CMC tracked aerial lifts, and GiANT loaders—and a factory-authorized service provider for JLG and Sennebogen—you’ll be working with some of the most respected equipment in the industry.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a field-based role where no two days look exactly the same.
You’ll be:
Traveling to customer sites across Michigan
Diagnosing and repairing aerial lifts, telehandlers, and other heavy equipment
Troubleshooting issues on-site and working toward practical solutions
Communicating with customers in a clear, professional way
Completing service documentation and job updates
Tracking time and coordinating parts when needed
Your Service Truck
Your truck is your workspace in the field.
Maintain organized inventory and common parts
Keep your vehicle clean and ready for the day
Stay prepared so you can respond efficiently on-site

• Communicate parts needs with the Parts department
• Collaborate with other technicians on more complex jobs
• Follow clear processes for work orders, diagnosis, parts requests, and quality checks

This is an in-office role where you’ll stay busy and involved throughout the day.
You’ll be: • Greeting customers and visitors as they arrive • Answering and directing incoming phone calls • Managing incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence • Supporting the team with day-to-day administrative tasks • Helping keep the office organized and running smoothly • Assisting with scheduling and general coordination as needed

The Role That Keeps Field Operations Moving
At Elite Field Service, our Field Service Coordinator plays a key role in keeping our technicians supported, our customers informed, and our daily operations running smoothly.
This is a fast-paced office role where organization, communication, and follow-through matter every single day. You’ll be coordinating schedules, communicating with customers, tracking work orders and parts, and helping ensure our field team has what they need to keep jobs moving.
If you’re someone who enjoys staying organized, solving problems, and being at the center of a busy operation, this is an important role within our growing company.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is an in-office role where priorities can shift quickly and strong communication is essential.
You’ll be:
• Coordinating daily schedules for field technicians
• Assigning service calls based on technician availability, location, and skillset
• Serving as a primary point of contact for customer service inquiries
• Providing customers with updates on job status, parts availability, and timelines
• Tracking work orders from open to completion
• Coordinating with the parts department to help keep jobs moving efficiently
• Monitoring parts orders and communicating updates to technicians
• Scheduling and tracking preventive maintenance appointments
• Helping manage after-hours and weekend on-call scheduling as needed
• Maintaining accurate records within the service management system

Prior experience in dispatching, service coordination, or operations support is an asset. Experience within construction, equipment, or industrial service industries is also helpful, but not required.
Mechanical expertise is not necessary for this role. We’ll provide the equipment knowledge needed to help you succeed.
